avatar

This week’s 16 ride has been designed with a fully integrated lightweight option for those of us who might need to save ourselves for the velodrome on Sunday (err, that’ll be me then…did I mention still a few places available!! ) So the suggested route sees us head to Buckfast by the standard route before skirting around the Abbey and cutting up on to the moors through Holne. Then it’s across through Vennford and back towards Two Bridges and Princetown. The lightweight(s) will head for home from here, probably after a cheeky coffee in Foxtor of course! The hardcore can … Read more…

Saturday 16 Road Ride – 28th February
avatar

This week’s 16 ride will be led by our very own Adrian (The Jensie) Longman In Adrian’s words: The weather is looking somewhat iffy so I’ve kept the route simple and adaptable. So its straight accross the moor with hopefully a helpful tailwind, through Moretonhampstead and up Doccombe, along the Teign valley and the usual route home. The full route is 73 miles. Hopefully the day will be a little brighter than the forecast is suggesting at the moment. The route can be found here A great route and thanks to Adrian for leading. Normal 16 rules apply – pace will … Read more…
