Saturday Road Ride Leaders

In order for our Saturday Road Rides to take place, we need volunteers to lead. If you can lead a ride or two (or even more) that would be fantastic and we would like to hear from you. There is a page of guidance and notes to help ride leaders and new riders here. Our amazing club is run purely by volunteers. If you would like to do your bit, here’s your chance. Thank you! Below is a list of ride dates and leaders, where we have them. If you wish to volunteer please leave a note in the comments section … Read more…

Club Road rides – 14th January

Morning all. With many areas around the moors affected by a icy and dangerous road conditions. We have to think about the safety of our members as a priority. Report from Ivybridge where I live, is Icy conditions. Whereas the report from Plymouth confirms warmer temperatures and no ice. Therefore we have decided to continue with the rides for now, pending investigation on the way down to B&Q (I guess I’m the brave soul) A final decision will be made at HQ. I will be there for about 915.

Hi all, hope you have had a lovely Christmas. Not an official Club ride but a chance for a last Social ride in 2016 at a easy B/C type pace. I’m planning on leaving Ivybridge (Assuming wife recovers from Sickness in time) for about 8am and heading towards B&Q for 9am. Was then thinking of route into the South Hams, likely to be a Slapton loop. Aim to be back for about 1-130pm.
