Saturday B Road ride – 25th June

Saturday Road Ride – D is for Doccombe 25th June

Thanks to Mike Smith for offering to lead the D ride this week… 🙂 In homage to those riding the Classic this weekend the D ride will head to Princetown before following the Classic route to Mortenhampstead, up and over Doccombe and back down the Teign Valley and then home via the normal route. Saturday A Road Ride – 25th June

Thanks to both Nathan and Dan for volunteering to lead the A ride this weekend, their route is as follows; Leaving HQ and heading up through Plympton, past the Lynham and on to Leemill. On through Ivybridge and South Brent, then along the A385 till Dartington where we will turn left and follow the Dart Valley (A384) to Buckfastleigh and a cafe stop at the South Devon Railway. MTB Fun/Social Ride – Saturday 18th June 2016

Normal ride again this week for the 3rd Saturday of the Month Fun Ride, meeting 10am at Roborough Rock carpark on the old airfield near Yelverton. Will drive somewhere nearby, and ride the usual length of ride and aim to in the Burrator for lunch /snack/drink for 1:30-2pm. Weather looks good to me, so hope to see people there tomorrow. Saturday B Road ride – 18th June

Thanks to Andy Greaves for volunteering to lead the B ride this weekend, his route is as follows; This weeks ride will be heading up to Princetown and then down to Tavistock to stop at Bob’s cafe. Shorter route than the last few weeks. Here’s the full route – HQ – Lee Moor – Cadover – Yelverton – Princetown – Two Bridges – Tavistock – Bob’s Cafe for refreshments – Whitchurch – Horrabridge – Walkhampton – Yelverton – Roborough – back to HQ. About 45 miles, 1300m climbing. Pace will be 13-14.

Thank you to all those who purchased Kit, I will now collate the orders and place with the manufacturer this afternoon. Lead time will be approx 4-5 weeks from point of order, if not sooner. For those still wishing to place order but missed deadline, let me know asap as there is still a small window. Once we have received our order, the online club shop will be activated and a club login allocated. Saturday ‘C’ Road Ride – 11th June

Bit of a dual effort by Ian and me to think of a suitably longish and a bit of a different ride for a nice June day, then realised it was going to be well…….. possibly iffy with westerlies.  So always looking for tailwinds home and following a suggestion from Tim (Halloran) we are heading in to Cornwall.  Likely just in time to enjoy those lovely roads before the holiday making hoards take over the roads.
