Saturday C Road Ride – 13th June

This week’s C Ride route leaves plenty of options to change if the weather turns biblical. It is just under 50 miles with 1265m of climbing. It is more likely to be nearer a 14 ave owing to terrain and I have not quite got my cycling legs back. Route from B&Q, Deep Lane, Yealmpton, Ermington, Kitterford Cross, California Cross, Loddiswell, then a right through the Avon valley to Aveton Gifford. Then the back road from Ashford up a long climb to join the Bigbury road. Then on to Great Torr and the back roads to Fleet House. From here we head for the Mothercombe road and follow the coast to Noss Mayo and our Café stop at the Swan Inn. Then home via Yealmpton, Elburton and Laira Bridge.

If it works, here is the Strava link to the ride:

Great to see Mr Ambrose back to his senses and on the bike! 🙂 sorry to miss this one, not for the route…just might be the only time I’d have been able to hold his wheel before he get’s his riding ‘legs’ back again!! 😉
