With it being the Nello Sportive this weekend, we will be a little thin on the ground for Riders. However the 12-14, 16-18 and 18+ rides will still proceed and a ride leader / route can be determined on the morning. Assuming we have the interest in these rides. Have a good weekend all

With the Dartmoor Classic upon us, Justin Stanbrook is leading a club training ride in prep for the Classic; Leaving HQ going Via Duex alpes, dousland, then heading out Moretonhsmpstead via Princetown, coffee stop at Bovey Tracey then back to Plymouth via Haytor and Buckfastleigh Route is 65 miles with 6300ft of climbing, so bring your climbing legs with you! OUCH!!!
We are still in need of a 12-14 and 16-18 Ride leader tomorrow. These rides will proceed as planned and both a leader / route can be determined on the morning should we not have anyone come forward in advance.
Kev Trevorrow is the main man this weekend, leading the 14-16 ride out to; Bovey Tracey, Teign Valley, Moretonhampstead, COFFEE (Cafe location tbc) Back to Bovey, Ivybridge, Erme Valley, Ermington and back. Probably 65 miles
***DATE TBC*** Onto Round 3 which will be on Tuesday 19th June at 7pm. This will again be a 3up Team Time Trial event using course S19/16S. This starts at HMS Raleigh and heads up to Trerulefoot Roundabout and back again. Going through Anthony, Sheviock and Polbathic. With the finishing point at the entrance of Anthony House. Myself and David Mitchell are leading this weeks 16-18. I’ll be part leading and aim to be back home for 12 (i’m out from 7am if anyone wants to join me) whereas David will then take over once I’ve left. With this in mind, thinking of a local South Hams Loop. Perhaps out to Dartmouth via Elburton, Yealmpton and Modbury. Back lanes to Cali Cross. Climb up Gara Bridge and out past Woodlands Park. Mike Taylor is the man with the plan this weekend; Leisure ride route for Sat 2 Jun will be Marsh Mills out to Lee Mill, Cornwood, Dragon Hill, Beatland Corner, Cadover to Yelverton. Coffee stop at Long Ash and return along Roborough Down (those not wanting to chance this road can return down the cycle path to Coypool). Distance about 35 miles.

David Mitchell is the leading man this weekend, his route and plan as follows; 16-18 ride, doing Deux Alps, then Cadover, Yelverton, Princetown, Tavistock loop, Robbie and I wanna be back early hence the short distance, maybe do it at a fast pace? If anyone else wants to come forward that’s cool, might be a good time for any 14-16 guys who want to step up the pace without the distance, thought I’d offer and see if anyone is up for it?
Bryan will be taking the 12-14 This weekend, as follows and with thanks l; 12-14 ride will be going to Loddiswell this week with a slightly different route to get there than normal . From HQ standard route to South Brent via Ivybridge and Wrangaton. Then take the road to Avonwick , just pass Avonwick take a right and head through Diptford to Moreleigh. Then pick up the A381 and make our way to Avon Mill cafe at Loddiswell. Then on to California Cross , on to A3121 and a blast down the valley , Yealmpton, Elburton, Embankment road, HQ. … Read more…
