Spring is here, albeit a tad windy! Its my turn to lead a ride and lets hope the lack of sleep doesn’t ruin it. So I’ll be leading a C ride this week in the absence of any D ride taking place. Those wishing to progress up from the B ride to the C in prep for the Summer, this is the perfect opportunity to do so. Thanks to Andy Greaves for volunteering to lead the B group this weekend; Weather looking dry and sunny so I think its time we hit the moors. Route as follows – HQ – Borington Hill – Cadover – Yelverton, should be arrive no earlier than 9.45 if anyone wants to meet here, just let me know. Then we head up to Princetown, on to Two Bridges and Dartmeet (yes we all love this hill!), then down to Ashburton and Buckfastliegh, we will stop here for some well earned refreshments. Both the Leisure and A ride will continue to take place as usual. We kindly ask that a ride leader and route is determined on the Morning. Which may be a quiet one due to an alternate MTB / CX ride organised. Therefore this could be the perfect opportunity for any tentative riders who are new to leading to step forward. Thankfully I’m back on it this weekend following my Daughters birth and my wife’s recovery from labour, so I’ll lead the C ride. However I’ll only be out until about 12 due to commitments in the afternoon. So with this in mind I’ve not actually come up with an exact route. I’m planning about 50-60 miles or so and was thinking a local loop.
