Yorkie is planning a fairly none technical Mountain Bike Ride this coming Saturday. Standard route up the cycle path Cann Woods up to Lee Moor Crossroads, Cadover Bridge, up over Sheepstor, up past the Scout Hut and in to Princetown on the path to the back of the Plume. Fox Tor and back down the railway track, possibly alongside the leats at Burrator then down through Meavy Clearbrook and back down the cycle path. Dan Richmond is kindly taking the 10-12 Ride this weekend; I’m happy to lead a 10-12 to Bobs at Tavi..out via cycle path and horrabridge..and back vis Drake Trail..short ride as I need to be back no later than 1.30 Coffee stop at Bobs
Phil Knight has kindly offered his services this week with thanks 14-16 ride this week – Saturday 10th November. Kingsbridge and South Hams HQ-Ivybridge-Wrangaton-California Cross-Gara Bridge-Moreleigh, then down along the creek leading back to Kingsbridge. Coffee stop at Creek’s End Inn on the quay, back via Aveton Gifford, long steady climb back to Calif Cross, then either sprint down the Erme Valley or take the regular Wrangaton-Ivybridge road home. Around 52 miles, 4000 ft climbing.

Non Technical MTB Route will be Cycle Path to Cann Woods Up through the woods to pick up road to witter Cross roads and on to Cadover. Up and over Sheepstor and up past scout hut on the rim wrecker to Fox Tor. Back down railway track to Burrator down through words to Meavy Clearbrook and back down cycle path

If anyone fancies an away day ride on Saturday. Peter Moss is willing to lead, starting from Callington free car park out to Lydford via Gunnislake and Brentor to Lift on Strawberry Fields for coffee and cake. Return via Launceston and then back roads to Callington. All in all 55 miles ish with a few climbs along the way. Leaving Callington at 9am 12/14 pace approx

Alternative early doors fondo ride this Saturday (15th Sept). Meet at YOGi HQ at 7am. Ride: Anticlockwise Moors loop (Buckfastleigh – Holne – Princetown – Tavistock – Home) Pace 16mph+ Distance 65 miles We aim to be back in Plympton/Plymstock for 11am so we tend not to stop at cafes. Those that want to enjoy a cafe stop can do so at the end at Rockets on the Barbican.
