Saturday 14-16 Road ride – 20th Jan

Andy B will be leading the 14-16 ride this week with thanks; Lifton loop, B&Q at 09:00 pick up at the George 09:20 ish on to Denham Bridge, out to Gulworthy, on to Chillaton then cafe stop at The Lifton Farm Shop. return via Launceston,back roads through Trebullett Bray Shop to Callington, then back roads to Hatt and Saltash and back in to Plymouth Strava link below, 56 miles let’s hope for a dry one https://www.strava.com/routes/6709198

Saturday Leisure (10-12) Road ride – 20th Jan

Bryan Millings is your ride leader this weekend; 10-12 (leisure) group are off to Long Ash garden centre this week . Route is B&Q,Sparkwell,Cornwood, relaxed climb up Dragon Hill,Cadover Bridge,Sheepstor, loop Burrator,Yelverton,Long Ash for cake stop,back to B&Q via a blast back along the Downs then Estover. About 33-35 miles.

Saturday 14-16 Road ride – 6th January

Jonathan Warren starts 2018’s 14-16 Road rides this week, his planned route will be out to Seaton Tomorrows 14-16 route, 56 miles and 4600ft. A slightly longer ride and cafe stop at Seaton is 40 miles in so be prepared for that. Weather will be very cold feeling like 0-4 Degrees so wrap up! Saturday 10-12 Road Ride – 23rd December

Thanks to Mike Taylor for taking charge of the 10-12 ride this weekend; PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS RIDE WILL MEET AND LEAVE FROM YOGI HQ (9AM) ONLY AND WONT HEADING TO THE BURRATOR FOR 10AM. Heading out to Ivybridge then up Cole Lane (eastern edge of Ivybridge) then onto Lukesland, Harford, Tor, into Cornwood (basically round the top of Hanger Down then into Cornwood from the NE) and then up Dragon Hill to Lee Moor, Cadover and Yelverton. Could also do a loop of Burrator (if road is open and time in hand).

Saturday 14-16 Road ride – 16th Dec

Andy Greaves is the 14-16 Group leader this week, with thanks. The plan; This weeks ride as follows, please note I will be staying on main roads this week as much as possible due to the recent weather, unsure what condition the back lanes will not be in- HQ – Tamar Bridge – should be here between 9.30-9.40 if anyone wants to meet here, please let me know. Saltash-Callington-Gunnislake-Tavistock Stop will be at Bob’s Cafe return route – Whitchurch-Horrabridge-Walkhampton-Yelverton-Cadover-Borrington-Plympton-HQ Distance is 43 miles with 1300m elevation. Saturday 16-18 Road ride – 9th Dec

Mike Smith will be again leading the 16-18 ride this weekend, B&Q 0900 – Wotter – Yelverton – Gunniuslake – Callington – Pensilva – Minions – Bolventor – Dobwalls – Looe – Hessenford – Torpoint. Not sure on where to stop though for coffee. I think Hessenford road may be off limits? My attendance depends on the hangover i have from my work do the night before!!!

YOGi Christmas Road Ride – Saturday 23rd Dec

Hi all Its that wonderful time of year again, where we dress up in our Festive wear (Although not Compulsory) and get on our bikes for the annual YOGi Christmas Road ride. As is tradition, the last ride of 2017 finishes at the Burrator Inn for a bit of a social. Meeting for approx 945am with ride depart at 10am.
