Hi all Due to adverse weather conditions forecast tomorrow throughout the day. In the interest of our members safety, tomorrow’s club rides will be cancelled. Those wishing to still go out, do so at their own risk and not under club rulings Have a good weekend all
Thanks to Debbie for volunteering to lead the 10-12 Leisure ride this weekend; Here is the route for the Leisure ride tomorrow. Off to Clifftop cafe, with a little detour through some back lanes from St John to keep it interesting. Aiming to get to the ferry for 10am. https://www.strava.com/routes/15652918
If anyone fancies an away day ride on Saturday. Peter Moss is willing to lead, starting from Callington free car park out to Lydford via Gunnislake and Brentor to Lift on Strawberry Fields for coffee and cake. Return via Launceston and then back roads to Callington. All in all 55 miles ish with a few climbs along the way. Leaving Callington at 9am 12/14 pace approx

Trevor Monk amongst otherd are doing another roadies go mountain biking on Saturday; Hq, bike track to Yelverton,Burrator, widow maker, Princetown, then back to AGM.
Alternative early doors fondo ride this Saturday (15th Sept). Meet at YOGi HQ at 7am. Ride: Anticlockwise Moors loop (Buckfastleigh – Holne – Princetown – Tavistock – Home) Pace 16mph+ Distance 65 miles We aim to be back in Plympton/Plymstock for 11am so we tend not to stop at cafes. Those that want to enjoy a cafe stop can do so at the end at Rockets on the Barbican.

Terry Casey is your man this week and plans to lead the following route; HQ – Smithaleigh, back roads to Cornwood, Ivybridge, Wrangaton, around to Ermington, then coffee at Endsleigh Farm Shop (at 24 miles). Then back to HQ. Distance 32 miles, 2000 feet elevation.

I have 9 names confirmed for the Velodrome in October. Last few days to put name down, however i need at least 15-16 names. Failure to get numbers, will result in cancellation of event which would be a massive shame YOGi – Newport Velodrome Trip – 7th October 2018
Mike Taylor has kindly offered to lead the 12-14 ride this weekend; 12-14. Route probably to St. Germans via the bridge, Blunts, Pillaton, Tideford. Coffee at The Jolly Roger at Craft hole. It’ll prob be at the lower end of the ride speed range.
