Weather forecast looks good, so I thought we could do the Lifton loop. One of my favourite rides. route below – Hq – George Pub – Bere Alston – Gulworthy – Chillaton – Lifton Cafe stop at the Lifton Farm shop back via Launceston – Trebullett- Callington – back lane to Hatt – Saltash- hq route is around 60 miles with quite a lot of elevation, so bring plenty to eat. Justin Cartright has offered to lead the route he had planned for last week before all rides were cancelled due to the weather. Here is his route – After last weeks efforts, a slightly easier ride this week. HQ, Wrangaton, Cali X, Gara bridge, Morleigh, Slapton, cafe stop in Torcross (Sea Breeze). Way home is Kingsbridge, Aveton Gifford, 3 Mile Climb, Modbury, Ermington and home. 55 miles and 1200m climbing.

Here is his route – I can take the 12/14 4th May Louis Tea Room loop HQ , deux alps Cadover Bridge, Yelverton, Dousland, Walkhampton to Tavy Then out to Gunnislake, bit of a climb here to Louis Tea Room for the cafe stop. Mike Everett has offered to lead this week, here’s his plan – Hi All This Saturdays Liesure Ride route is around the South Hams. Out to Sparkwell, Cornwood and Ivybridge onwards to Ermington and Yealmpton where we will stop for a break. Our return will be via Brixton, Elburton and Saltram. Ill lead the 14-16 ride this week, we will be going out to Bovey Tracey, stopping at either cafe 64 or cafe 360 depending on size of group. Plympton to Blackpool Sands, via, Ivybridge, Wrangaton, Gara Bridge, Halwell, A3122, turn off just after Woodlands, heading South to Norns Lane (just before Strete), Blackpool Sands (café stop). Justin Cartwright has offered to lead this week, here is his route.- HQ, Leigham, The george, green lane, yelverton, princetown, dartmeet, postbridge, fox tor cafe stop. Way home is merrivale, pork, moortown, horrabridge, yelverton, roborough downs. 50 miles, 5000 ft climbing. If you haven’t been up Dartmeet it’s definitely a good challenge. Have a good ride all.
We are heading out to Totnes this week, stopping at Jon’s farm shop. The full route can be viewed by clicking the link below. Its my intention to organise a bit of through and off from Ermington up to Wrangaton this week. Its a quieter road to practice on and should keep us all together.
