Well Winter close by but meanwhile we are having a super coloured Autumn so thought a trip to Lopwell Dam a good choice for this week. Plenty of wildlife fattening up in the estuary and the trees a mass of reds, oranges and gold. What a sight to behold and certainly not to be missed!
So route is:-
Plym Valley Cycle Path to Yelverton – Crapstone – Buckland Monochorum – Milton Coombe – Lopwell Dam (coffee and cake here at the Old Pump House) – Tamerton Foliot – Looseleigh Lane – Derriford Roundabout – Home. Circa 30 miles
As a reminder this ride is aimed at all those who enjoy a steady social ride, so it may well be as slow as 10 mph average. This route is quite hilly too hence why a fairly short one, however we will ride all the climbs at an enjoyable pace so we can all embrace the cyclist’s ultimate pleasure together :).
It was a good while ago that I last led this ride so looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and some new ones.
