Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

It’s that wonderful time of the year when we have polished off the wording in our letters of desire to you know who and excitedly wait for the day when you can rip off the wrapping and drool over, fit to current bike, wear, or for the very very well behaved actually get on and ride. Its also the time of the year when we wish you and your loved ones a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thanks to all our members for being part of us and making our club what it is today, a special thanks to those who volunteer to lead rides and organise or help out at other club events.

We often see new joiners post Christmas so here’s hoping that some of those who are about to receive a new shiny bike make their way to us, along with some of those who make cycling related New Year Resolutions. Any that do we know can be reassured of the welcome you always give them.

Looking forward to seeing a good few of you at Saturdays traditional Christmas rides and/or the social gathering for a drink and eats at The Burrator Inn.

Steve just been out today with Andy Birch and a few others for a lovely ride around SE Cornwall an excellent start to the Christmas break. Unfortunately I cannot make Saturday as son number 1 is arriving for Christmas with his wife. However I just wanted to thank you and the rest of the Committee for running this excellent club, after 5 years it still brings me much pleasure and your efforts are truly appreciated. I would also like to acknowledge the excellent work of Andy Burch and Andy Greaves who shoulder a lot of the load of leading 14-16 rides and do a fantastic job. Thank you all and Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!
