New to Road Cycling – Wednesday evenings fortnightly

There is a fortnightly road ride that meets every other Wednesday, especially for those that would like to see how they get on with cycling. The ride will be advertised within the ride schedule on the week that it is running, so do look out for details of it there. So far this ride has proved to be a resounding success with many people coming out to try it.

The ride will meet at the usual time of 6.30pm at B&Q Coypool. Carl Hutchins (Ski) has kindly suggested this ride and will be your ride leader.

The pace will average around 10 mph and you will cover a distance of about 15 miles.

This is an ideal opportunity for anyone new to YOGi who wants to see how they get along. We would ask that anyone joining this ride respect the aim of it which is to welcome and encourage all into the joy of riding a bike.

As usual we would ask that all riders wear a helmet, bring along spare inner tubes and a pump in case of a puncture and a drink.

It’s also worth remembering that this ride will run fortnightly.

So why not give it a go? I suspect you may well enjoy and come back for more! 🙂
