Okehampton Reliability Trial

Okehampton CC is running a (road) reliability trial in conjunction with the CTC on Sunday  7th August starting at 9am. There is the choice of either a 60 mile in 5-6 hours  or a 100 mile in 8-10 hours.

The idea is that you have to navigate your way to the various checkpoints within the alloted time; you are given a route card at the start. A number of us did this ride two years ago. Take a couple of elastic bands to attach the route details to your forearm.

The event starts at Mole Avon car park, Okehampton (Grid ref: SX 610954). It is non profit making so it costs only £2 to enter, which you can do on the day. Food is not provided but both routes do go via the odd cafe or pub (4 last time!) and finishes at a pub.

If you are interested let Tim know via email at tim_sharon2002@btinternet.com or phone 07731385531 so that he has some idea of numbers.
