Meet at 10am at Roborough rock (large rock on the old airfield just before Yelverton, when travelling from Plymouth) Will then drive to a nearby start point to start the ride. Aim will be to be back at around 2pm. Then lunch/snack/beer in the Burrator as normal. Cheers John 07824505817
Thanks to Mick Brian for volunteering to take the reigns for the C ride this week, he has come up with a belter of a 100+ mile ride; https://www.strava.com/routes/8851175 830am Start at B&Q, with a ride up and over the Moors outbound to Exeter and back hugging the Coast via Dawlish, Teignmouth, Torquay and Paington. Before heading inland to Totnes, Avonwick, Erme Valley, Yealmpton, Brixton and Elburton. Whereas could you ride both Moorland and Coastline on the same ride! Coffee stop at Exeter Quay Cant wait for this one!
Thanks to both Chris Lewis and JK for volunteering to lead the B ride this weekend; From Coypool to Cadover bridge via Colebrook / Boringdon then Yelverton (pickup 10:00). Tavistock then Chillaton and onto Lydford. Café stop at the National Trust, Lydford Falls café, hopefully will be a nice day to sit outside. Harford Bridge via North Brentor and climb up to Moorshop, through Walkhampton then back to Yelverton. Freewheel back past Roborough. https://www.strava.com/routes/8854229 51 miles and 4500ft climbing, B group pace which will average about 13mph on this route. No one gets left behind.

Andy Burch and Greg Mack will take the B Ride Sat 27/05/17, heres the plan: B&Q cycle path to Yelverton,pick up here 09:45 latest, on uo to Princetown, out to Postbridge, right turn then back roads to Widdecombe, Buckland in the Moor,then drop down to Buckfastleigh train station for cafe stop (please note this is 30 miles + into the ride so bring plenty of food to fuel you on those hills !) Hi all Onto our next Summer Event and its visit number 2 to the Torbay Velopark. Tuesday 6th June. 6-8pm. This is the perfect opportunity to take part in either Group ride training (To be provided by David Fletcher if we have the numbers?) or just to ride as many laps as you wish and as fast as you wish (Safety first mind!) There is no entrance fee and all hire costs have been covered by the club. We have access to Leisure Centre toilets but not to changing room facilities.
