The ride leaders this week are Debbie Hancock and Alex Warren.
We’ll aim to depart B&Q at 9.00 am. From B&Q we go through Eggbuckland and along the Crownhill Road to the Tamar Bridge where we will pick up at about 9.45. We then take the usual YOGi route through Hatt, Pillaton and Blunts. After Blunts, instead of following the usual route to Tideford, we turn off at Tideford Cross, and go under the A38 through the underpass at Heskyn Mill. (Those who did the Gran Fondo medio route may recognise this.) Up the hill, through St Germans to Polbathic, where we turn right, then left on to the road to Hessenford. In Hessenford we take the valley road down to the cafe stop at Seaton. After Seaton, it’s back to Tregantle, then down to Antony and back to the Torpoint Ferry.
Distance is around 40 miles back to the Ferry, so about 45 miles from B&Q and back.
