The Exmouth Exodus 2011 is fast approaching

Exmouth Exodus

This year, the Exmouth Exodus, a 100 miles night ride from Bristol to Exmouth will take place on the night of the 13th and 14th August. If you are looking for an event to spice up your season or are looking for new adventures, this is an event you must enter. Riding through the night is fun, but when it is done in good company, with the promise of a full breakfast at dawn on the beach, it becomes a truly memorable occasion. I won’t be riding the Exmouth Exodus this year for family reasons, but I will be dishing out the pasta at the food stop in North Curry instead.

I would love to see other Yogis take part in this free, unsupported ride and experience the very special atmosphere of night riding to the sea. I am prepared to hire a minibus to take a few riders up to Bristol on Saturday evening and take them back from Exmouth to Plymouth. All I need is for you to come forward quite soon so I can get an idea of the size of the minivan required. Please don’t put your name down unless you are prepared to commit yourselves to take part. Costs will be divided equally between participants.

All details of the events are here

  1. Richard Woods says:

I would like to enter – sounds like an unusual ride not to be missed. Minibus ride would be great too if you could add my name.

  2. Simon Pope says:

Hi William, I’m not sure how anyone could read your ride reports and not want to do this!! Just got the OK from my dear long-suffering wife to take part. Shared transport would be great if we can get enough numbers to make it work out….

  3. At last I can login and respond. thanks for the interest. At this stage not many people seem keen to take part so we may simply use my car, which is bite enough to hold 2 or 3 bikes as long as the wheels are taken off. If more interest arises, I will look further into hireling a minibus.
