Weather forecast is a westerly wind with dry and sunny intervals 🙂 perfect for a trip across to Seaton with a nice tail wind home.
Full route is down to the ferry for a 0945 sailing…..late risers take note!! 🙂 We’ll head out past HMS Raleigh before joining the main road down to Antony, a left up the hill towards Tregantle and then follow the main road down into Millbrook, a meander alongside the estuary before the climb up to the church, a regroup here likely before a trip around Kingsand and Cawsand and a gently climb up to Rame Head and along the cliff back to Tregantle.
Following the cliff to Crafthole we’ll then descend down to the main road and up towards Trerulefoot, turning left on the Looe road another gentle climb up and then down to Hessenford and a blast along the river to Seaton for our café stop.
Post café it’s up Downderry hill but then well hang a left and head back down to Polbathic to join the main road all the way into Torpoint, aim will be to keep a tight group all the way back to Torpoint and the ferry. After the ferry it’s a bomb blast if history is anything to go by, there will be a visit to R&R on the way back for those who would like to partake.
Ride distance is 52 miles with just over 4,000ft of climbing…and a tail wind all the way home!! 🙂 Full route can be found here.
