It’s my pleasure to lead this week and as this group stayed in Devon last time out we we will head to Cornwall, generally a favourite short ride of many of us.
A ‘Heads Up’ (or a reminder to some) it is hilly but they will all be ridden at a pace that makes them all fun and anyway the ups always rewarded by the downs.
Cattedown – Barbican – West Hoe – Millbay – Torpoint Ferry – St John – Millbrook – Maker – Cawsand – Whitsand Bay (cafe stop at the Cliff Top Cafe) – Tregantle – Anthony – Home (circa 30 miles)
As a reminder this ride is aimed at those who like to have a social steady ride with an average speed of between 10 and 12 mph. Therefore an ideal ride for anyone who is ‘bike fit’ and wanting to try out the added enjoyment of ridng with like minded people, those simply wanting to sample our club culture or simply need a recovery ride. We will be practising some group riding skills everyone will be expected to practice on the ride. It will be a bit of fun too!
As ever look forward to seeing some regular and any new faces!
