As it looks like this warm and dry September weather is going to show its face again we will head to the coast and SE Cornwall ,which will be no surprise to those who know this is my favourite 30 mile route. The last time I led this ride we did exactly the same route and the cafe stop banter proved it was as enjoyable as I expected. IAnd yes that view continued on the ferry home after all the climbs. Yes it is quite hilly but we will be taking them gently and most of them are short, sharp and err…….sweet. Honest!
Coypool – Cattedown – Barbican – Plymouth Hoe – Ferry to Torpoint – St John – Millbrook – Cawsand – Whitsand Bay (cafe stop at The Cliff View) – Tregantle – Anthony – Torpoint – Coypool.
As a reminder this ride will be ridden at a 10 to 12 mph average speed, appropriate to ensure we all stay together, ride safely and enjoyably.
This ride is aimed at those who maybe new to club cycling, those who want to try it before becoming a member and those who simply want to ride at a leisurely social pace. ideally you do need to be used to riding and know you can reasonably ride this distance at the minimum average speed. If any of these fit you, come along.
Look forward to seeing and riding with anybody new and those who are not! 🙂
