Off-road cycling job in Devon and Cornwall with the National Trust

Job Title: 1SW Cycle Hub Development

Salary: c.£27,097 per annum

Contract: Fixed Term

About the role

Responsible for off-road cycling projects in Lanhydrock, Cardinham Woods and Plymbridge, you’ll develop proposals and ensure everything is in place for eager, sightseeing cyclists to explore these special places to the fullest. You’ll be accountable for designing the project’s aims and report collection, while getting everyone involved in the project’s success. A fine communicator, you’ll manage contractors and as the project develops, lead consultation with a variety of stakeholder groups. Not only will you oversee all planning applications, you’ll also ensure that the 1SW Off Road Cycling Project is properly marketed, so even more people can come and experience the magic these special places have to offer.

This is a three year full-time contract until 31 December 2013. Note: Job-share will be considered.

About you
Deeply enthusiastic about outdoors activities, you’re a thought-provoking and inspiring leader who brings proven project management experience. Having worked on grant funded projects before, you have a passion for providing the highest standards of customer care and can demonstrate good IT and evaluation skills. As you’ll be working with a wide range of people, you’ll have communication skills which are second to none and have a record in nurturing key partner relationships. Above all, you’ll have a genuine interest in the aims and ambitions of the National Trust – ensuring special places are here to be enjoyed for generations to come.
