Let the festivities begin!
And indeed they will be, for this week Carl Hutchings (alias Ski) and Ray Cooke are leading the Saturday 12 for a special Christmas cocktail of fun!
Firstly, the order of the day is fancy dress. So come on you Sat 12 YOGi’s, dig out your glad rags and get to it. Dress up yourselves, your helmets and/or your bikes as much as you dare! Obviously this is not compulsory but Ski and Ray can promise you that there will be much banter, laughter and fun on the ride for this week. 🙂
In addition, and to add to the fun, your stop will be at the Burrator Inn where your festivities can continue on as much as you wish them to.
As for the leaders themselves, well they are trussing themselves up in all of their finery they tell me and will be arriving at B&Q car park in true Christmas style. Not on their own individual bikes either. Oh no, they have a better idea in mind as have decided to ride this Saturday upon a tandem!!
What a YOGi cocktail mix this is going to be! Two guys leading in fancy dress upon a tandem riding with true YOGi spirit. Oh boy! Which after all is what it is all about.. Shaken? Perhaps on some of the hills, but let’s hope not stirred. Too much!
So to the route.
Well you will head for Sparkwell, Cornwood, Cadover, Sheepstor and then you will ride for the Burrator Inn.
So as usual folks, but with an added bit of Christmas cheer, meet 9am B&Q Coypool for more fun on the bike. Up the YOGi’s!
