Saturday 12 Road Ride – 22nd March

Hi all,

I thought I would come and see you guys on the 12 Ride rock. The club is a bit thin on the ground with ride leaders for the 12 ride at the moment, so I will be looking to drum up a few volunteers for future rides and answer any queries.

From our usual start point – B&Q car park at Plympton (09:00am) we will make our way to the Tamar Bridge for 09:40 for those wanting that lie in. From here we will head to Hatt before dropping off the main road and taking the back roads to Callington and Kelly Bray. Next it’s right onto the B3267 which goes around the back of Kit Hill before we take the 4th left  to Horsebridge to head towards Milton Abbot. A right turn onto the B3362 and then the A390 to head towards Tavvy for the all-important café stop at Bob’s café in the market square. There are two choices for the last leg of the journey; either back through Whitchurch and the Roborough Downs, or for those needing that little bit more you can add another 10 hilly miles on by climbing to Princetown and back home. Distance 45 miles.
