Saturday 12 Road Ride – 26th January

I will lead this weeks ride for a change.  So lets hope that we will finally have a half decent and safe day to get out again, currently that is looking reasonably likely.

Route is:-

Cattedown – Devonport – Torpoint Ferry – Polbathic – Crafthole – Tregantle – Cafe Stop at The Cliff View – Cawsand – Millbrook – St John – Torpoint

Approximate distance is 38 miles with an average speed of 12mph. A tad shorter than usual but lots of short sharp hills for the second part of the ride and one long one out of Polbathic to Whitsand Bay which brings us out just above Downderry so your legs will have had enough by the time we get back to Plymouth.

This is our slowest Saturday ride so please appreciate that if you unsure you can maintain this average then in fairness to everyone else please use our mid week rides to judge /improve your fitness first.

If any one wants to volunteer to double up and help lead this ride that would be good please say so in comments below.

Please do refresh yourselves with our Rides Ethos and Guide to Group Riding (elsewhere on this ‘News’ page) and do your bit to ensure we all enjoy the ride.

Look forward to getting out!
