I’m sure everyone is dying to get back out on their bikes after the horrendous weather we have been having lately, so although there are a few cheeky hills on this ride the plan is to keep it steady and take it easy on the hills.
Usual start point – B&Q car park Plympton (09:00), we will then make our way out to Buckfastleigh via Plympton and Ivybridge. At Bucky we start to climb our way up to and through Holne village onto Hexworthy Hill and past Venford Resevoir, this will bring us up onto the Moors. It’s the nice blast back past Two Bridges to bring us to the café stop at the Foxtor café in Princetown. With a belly full of cake it’s all downhill (sort of) back to Plymouth.
Ride distance of about 48 miles, the café stop is around the 35 mile mark so it would advisable to bring some snacks to get you this far.
