I have tried to pick a reasonably sheltered ride as the weather for Saturday is wet in the morning, clearing up as the day goes on.
From our usual start point (B&Q car park Plympton at 09:00)we will head up to Lee Moor and then onto Yelverton, from there we head to Tavistock via Whitchurch. From Tavistock we head to Callington via St Annes Chapel, stopping at Kit Hill for our cafe stop.
From Callington we head for St Ive, then onto Menheniot. From Menheniot we head for Tideford where we can cross the A38 where the road is single carriageway and a reduced speed limit.
We then press on to Hessenford where we pick up the A387 all the way to the Torpoint ferry. After the ferry I have planned the return trip to Plympton via St Budeaux and Crownhill but people can shoot off home where convenient.
