We never got to ride this route so with the sun shining what could be better than a trip to Cornwall?
So it’s over the bridge and into the back lanes at Hatt and across to Callington. Then we drop down to Newbridge and up the other side following the A390 to Merrymeet and Liskeard. Out past the station to Duloe, down the hill to Looe and up St Martins Hill back to Hessenford where we turn for Seaton and Downderry. Back to Tregantle and around the coast to Cawsand, Millbrook, St John and across the ferry at Torpoint.
Total route is around 66 miles and can be found here
Suggested cafe stop is the Cliff Top cafe after 48 miles but there are options to stop in Liskeard, Looe or Seaton depending on how people are feeling. Also plenty of options to shorten the route, we might even opt for the Cremyll Ferry and another coffee at R&R!
Pace will be steady! 🙂
