Saturday 16 Road Ride – 29th November

With the weather looking so promising again for Saturday what could be better than a trip to the seaside, yeay 🙂

Fingers crossed Greg Learoyd is still happy to lead this week and we’re heading to Salcombe via some variation of a Dartmouth – Kingsbridge route.  Should mean we get a good blast through Slapton, Chillington and Frogmore, one of my favourite stretches of road!  Cafe stop is in Salcombe, any suggestions for a good cafe welcome?  Home is through West Alvington (if we find the right lane) and Aveton Gifford, then maybe California Cross, maybe straight down the 379.  Whatever, it promises to be another fun day on the bike with this great group of riders!

Distance will be somewhere between 60 & 80 miles and hopefully less climbing than last week 🙂

Normal 16 rules apply, pace will be steady and dictated by those riding so don’t be put off from stepping up if you fancy it.  The route and cafe stop may change if the group decides so, we’re very democratic like that!  Be sure to bring plenty of food just in case!
