There must be sunshine on the go this Saturday as the “14” and “16” Road Rides are both heading into Cornwall, Looks like the Seaton Cafe is going to take a big hit on its cakes this Saturday……….
The route for 8th September is a ride to Liskeard. From our usual start point (B&Q carpark 09:00) we will head to the Torpoint ferry for about 9-45 to 10 am for those who wish to meet us there, and then riding the valley road to Trerulefoot roundabout. From here it is the back roads to the top of Liskeard passing through Menheniot with a few climbs on the way. We retrace our path back and then turn right towards Hessenford with a cafe stop at Seaton. Once again it is the valley road back to Torpoint (unless we choose to ride the coastal road). The route is quite fast and I expect an early return to Plymouth. Estimated 55 miles. The following Saturday (15th) is the Tour of Britain , with the club providing a choice of rides. If anybody would like to lead the 16’s on Sat 22nd (or any other Saturday) please let me know. My email email@example.com
