Training ‘B’ Ride:
Led by Kim Wiltshire
The 16 B ride is being led by Kim Wiltshire this week, who’s hoping to have a better ride than last weeks. We’ll head out to Modbury, then back roads to Gara Bridge, California Cross and Dartmouth. The cafe stop will be at Blackpool Sands, from there it’s onto Torcross, Kingsbridge and back to Modbury and home.
As usual we will stick together as a group though it may be necessary to form two groups as we feel that smaller groups work more efficiently, are safer and communication is easier. We’ll ride 2 by 2 when it is safe to do so and also practice some through-and-off.

Training ‘A’ Ride: No ride leader as yet.
Please post in comments if you want to lead an alternative ride.
Saturday Training Rides – A and B groups.
These rides are for people who are looking to develop their cycling performance and who wish to ride in a structured group following good group riding practice. They are aimed at people who already have a level of fitness. Novice cyclists should try one of the other YOGi rides first. For the period before Christmas and into the new year there is an emphasis on developing an endurance base. As cycling events get closer and the weather warms up there will be opportunities for developing speed, power and to continue with endurance base riding. Fast rides will also feature. Groups will aim to have no more than 12 riders and, to facilitate this, there could be a split into A and B groups. There may be more than one ride and route offered, to facilitate various types of riding and keep group numbers manageable.
