Steady Road Ride – Saturday 27th August

This week we will ride the Seven Bridges Tamar Valley route which as it says on the tin is based around the short sharp climbs that this beautiful valley is reknowned for.

We will head for Yelverton via Duez Alpes (can meet us here!) then head for Denolm Bridge – Gulworthy – Gunnislake – Horsebridge – Chip Shop – Tavistock (Cafe stop here at Bob’s East End Caff).  Then a choice of  Pork Hill and Merrivale to Princetown and back to Plymouth.  55 Miles Ish

Or for those who prefer an earlier (or yep easier finale) Whitchurch – Horrabridge – back to Plymouth 45 miles (ish)

Thanks to Steve for a great ride today, I have done this route twice and it doesn’t get any easier.
Going down the lane (river) to Denolm bridge was interesting although that must have been where my puncture originated!
Justin I hope your hip is ok, is your bike on ebay yet?

I enjoyed taking those long hill climbs with speed. That slow slippery downhill descent was interesting – it’s the first time I’ve ever got off the bike to walk it down a hill!

2 consecutive Saturdays getting wet: surely next Saturday will be dry?!?
