Saturday C Road Ride – 19th September

This week’s C ride, with the weather looking promising. Will be a trip to the SE Cornish Coast, which we haven’t done for a while.

9am start we will head for the Tamar bridge via Embankment, Exeter Road, past Plymouth Uni, Train Station and onto Wolseley Rd into St Budeaux. Aim to be at Bridge for 935 – 945, should anyone want to meet there.

Take the road from Saltash to Callington, where we take a left at the Roundabout back towards Liskeard via St Ive & Merrymeet. From Liskeard we head for Seaton beach cafe (for our much deserved Cake stop) using the B3254 passing through Trewidland. Then on past Widegates and Hessenford.

Feeling replenished we head back to the Torpoint Ferry by first climbing up the Downderry Hill, then Portwinkle and Anthony. Once accross the Ferry, it’s a blitz straight through town and back onto the Embankment before finishing where we started.

Approx 55 – 60 miles. Look forward to seeing you then.
