It’s a bank holiday weekend, YEAY!! 🙂 So what else but a trip to Cornwall for the D ride..
We’re still allegedly in summer so we’ll leave B&Q at 8am as is the norm for the D ride and head for the Tamar Bridge and the crossing to Cornwall. From here it’s through Hatt and the back lanes to Callington and on to Kelly Bray and the Coads Green road. From here we turn and drop down to Rilla Mill and up and up again to Minions. Then it’s up through Draynes Valley to Bolventor and back past Colliford Lake to Dobwalls, Duloe and Looe where we’ll stop around the 50 mile mark (although if we see something earlier then that might be a good option). From Looe its up St Martins hill unless anyone can be persuaded to tackle Barbican Hill, back to Hessenford and maybe a fast blast back to Torpoint!
Total route is around 75 miles and can be found here!
Normal D rules apply so route and cafe stop might change by mutual agreement but come prepared to cover a good distance before we stop. Hope to see you there for another great day out on the bike 😀
