Big Al will be leading this Saturday’s AGM ride.
Please bear in mind that this Big Al driven ride will terminate at Yelverton Church Hall for the annual YOGi AGM and BBQ at around 1.30pm.
(For those not wanting to stop for the usual YOGi banter or the promise of free food, then the Plym Valley cycle path offers the easiest traffic free option back to B&Q)
Big Al will be heading out from B&Q as usual through Plympton and on to Lee Mill and Ivybridge. At Ivybridge we will cross the A38 and head over to Ermington before climbing the valley up to Wrangaton. We will stop at the popular Wrangaton junction café before heading back through Bittaford to Ivybridge. As we need to finish in Yelverton we will head over to Cornwood and climb up to Wotter via Tin Park Hill. From here it’s a rolling road to Cadover Bridge before plunging down the valley to cross the River Meavy and back up to Yelverton.
If we do arrive very early for the AGM there is always the option of a cheeky lap around Burrator.
The ride is 32.5 miles (without a cheeky lap around Burrator) with around 1600ft of climbing and will be at 10-12mph average pace.
Hope to see you there.
