St Luke’s Tour De Moor Marshalls Required – 14th October

This is a general request from St Lukes Hospice and especially as our chosen charity it would be good if we can help find more marshalls.  So if you are not riding how about the next best thing, helping those who are!

Please respond via the e-mail or telephone number at the end of the article not in the comments section

St Luke’s Hospice Tour De Moor cycling event takes place on 14th October. We are expecting over 1200 participants cycling either 7, 15 or 35 miles all to raise much needed funds for the hospice. In 2011 we raised an incredible £65,000 and for our 30th anniversary year in 2012 we hope to exceed this amount.

As you can imagine, with so many participants taking place in this fabulous event, we need to ensure that their safety is paramount at all times – and this is where you can help us!

We need several more marshals to help man our routes throughout the event…..( without which the event simply would not be able to take place)

The event starts and ends at Coypool Car Park in Plym Valley and riders are scheduled to start from 07:00am onwards – so marshals should be prepared for an early start.

If you are able to help us please get in touch with either myself or Events Fundraiser Amie Bull on 01752 492626 or email lorna.baker@stlukes-hospice.org.uk / amie.bull@stlukes-hospice.org.uk
