Steady Road Ride – Saturday 24th September

Hi all,

We abandoned this ride half way around due to bad weather last time, so let’s try again this week, the weathermans giving us good odds on sunshine.

Usual start point – B&Q car park Plympton (09:00), we will then make our way out to just before Ashburton via Plympton and Ivybridge. From here we start to climb our way up Holne Hill and Hexworthy Hill, where we go past Venford Reservoir, this will bring us up onto the Moors. It’s just a short dash then past Two Bridges to bring us to the Café stop at the Foxtor café in Princetown. With a belly full of cake it’s all downhill (sort of) back to Plymouth.

Ride distance of about 48  miles, the café stop is around 35 mile mark so it’s would advisable to bring some snacks to get you this far.
