Trevor Monk will be leading the A ride, with thanks. His route is as follows; From Yogi HQ we will go up Larkham lane, down Crossways up towards Sparkwell then out past Langage, bit of a mystery tour through the back lanes to Yealmpton then up the valley for a coffee stop at Wrangaton, From cafe to Ivybridge, Leemill then a option of either straight home or Dragon hill, Elfordliegh, B&Q (depending on how everyone is feeling!!) Thanks to Andrew Greaves for volunteering to lead the A ride this weekend, his route as follows; From HQ we head to Yelverton, taking in Borrington Hill and Cadover Bridge on the way. From Yelverton we ride through Walkhampton and then down to Horrabridge and along Jordan Lane to the base of Pork Hill. We the ride up Pork hill and Merrivale (looking out for the B ride coming the other way!) and onto Princetown for refreshments at Fox Tor Cafe. Thank you to both Phil Williams and Ray Cooke for volunteering to lead the A ride this weekend. Their route is as follows B&Q, Ivybridge, wrangaton, California cross, loddiswell, sorely, churchstow, Cafe stop in Bantham Then homeward bound via Aveton gifford, California cross, Modbury, Ermington and Ivybridge 55 miles at approx 12 pace. Andrew Greaves has very kindly offered to lead the A Road ride this week. His route will also pass through Buckfastleigh & Dartington. From HQ its straight out to Buckfastliegh via Ivybridge and South Brent, We will stop at the Buckfastliegh steam railway cafe for some refreshments. From here we head into Dartington and then turn back towards South Brent. Then its back through Ivybridge and into Plympton. Weather forecast is looking good, so should be a dry ride! This weeks ride takes in two fairly ‘tricky’ climbs, so will be a good challenge for everyone. From HQ its up through Leigham and Roborough. We then head towards Bere Alston tackling our first challenge – Denham Bridge. Once at Bere Alston we head towards Gulworthy and Gunnislake where we take on our second challenge – the climb out of Gunnislake. Thank you to Chris Oliver for volunteering to lead the A ride this week, his route as follows; We will be taking a trip to the Cornish coast this weekend, taking in the sights at Seaton. Setting off down Embankment cycle path, Barbican, Torpoint for 0945. Antony, Milbrook, Rame then on to Seaton to top up the tan. Home via Narkus, Sheviock, Torpiont. 39 miles. Their route is as follows; B&Q cycle trail, Denham bridge, Lydford, Bob’s cafe and home. This ride is Weather dependent and may be cancelled, if so as much notice as is possible will be given. Hope for finer weather!!!!!
No ride leader this weekend for the A ride, however this ride will still continue We ask that those taking part to jointly agree a route, and / or leader and ensure they ride within our club ethos. Enjoy your ride everyone. See you next weekend!

Buckfastleigh cafe railway stop for some cake and a cuppa. Then return the same way in reverse. Anyone wanting to jump off the front are reminded that this ride will be led at a 12 average pace. Aiming to be at the bridge for 9.45. If anyone wants to meet here please let me know. Thank you to Michael Taylor for volunteering to lead the A Ride again this weekend, the plan as follows; Following two visits out to Lopwell Dam recently – one by car with grandchildren and one by bike – both of them to savour the Pump House legendary cake I plan to take you all out to this little gem. Thanks to Michael Taylor for volunteering to lead this week’s A ride, his route as follows; Route for the A ride this Saturday will be out via Torpoint, up through St John, Millbrook, Kingsands/Cawsands with a stop for cake and coffee at one of YOGi’s favourites at Cliff View overlooking Whitsands. Once refreshed carry on to Tregantle then, instead of turning back to Anthony, will head further on to Crafthole rejoining the A374 just to the west of Sheviock. Straight run back to Plymouth from there. Distance about 35-40 miles. Have a great day!
BIG Thank you to Yorkie who has volunteered to lead the “A” ride this week, his route as follows; Out from B & Q to Bittaford up and under the Bridge to take the back route to South Brent. Up through the village to the back road towards Buckfastleigh where we will take the cycle route to Totnes. Coffee at the Steamer Quay Cafe. On completion up through the back streets to Kingsbridge Hill and ride the cycle path to the Ashprington turning.
