Once again, thanks to Mike Smith for leading this week’s D ride…. Plan is to meet at B&Q at 8 where we head straight out to Ashburton and up Poundsgate for a bit of early lactate pain. He glosses over the next bit with a simple “head on through to Tavy’ so that will be across the renowned pan flat Dartmoor then Mike? 😉 After a pit stop in Tavy it’s on to Gunnislake, and up the last big climb of the day. Then Callington calls and the main road and a bit of a blast home to P-town. Good … Read more…

It will probably be out through Gara Bridge and back through Loddiswell but we’ll see what he’s got planned or make it up on the day in the usual D style! The route should look something like this! With a high number of riders away this weekend. We have been unable to meet our insurers requirement of a formal leader for both official C & D rides, therefore we have sadly had no other choice but to cancel these rides for this weekend. All other rides will continue as per normal. We do understand there will be a number of riders who will turn up tomorrow for both these group rides, therefore ask that they jointly agree a route and ensure the ride adheres to our Ethos. However please note that any ride agreed in this way, cannot … Read more…

Saturday D Road Ride – 20th June

Thanks to Adrian Longman for leading the D ride this week: Once again the ride will leave at 8 a.m. After the last two weeks rather enthusiastic rides, I thought it might be nice to slow things down a tad and do a steady Exeter/Teignmouth Loop. 🙂 So it’s straight over the moor and into Exeter, along the riverbank and into Teignmouth for our stop, and the usual valley road home. Distance is just shy of 100 miles but, once over the moor, it’s pan-flat! Good luck to those not riding and doing the Classic on sunday 😀 Cheers, Adrian

Saturday D Road Ride – 13th June

Once again this weeks D ride will leave at 8a.m. 🙂 Route this week is an old favourite out to Dartmouth and back. Plan is the usual Gara Bridge, Morleigh out and back through Kingsbridge and Loddiswell but happy to shake it up if anyone wants to try something different. Maybe Buckfastleigh, Dartintgton Totnes to Dartmouth, as usual we can make it up as we go along! 😀 Suggest we crack on to Loddiswell before we stop, but plenty of options for an earlier break if needed. Standard route can be found here!
