YOGi Road Race Cancelled

Regrettably we took the decision to cancel the YOGi Road Race (scheduled for Sept 2nd) at our committee meeting this week. We waited this long in the hope we might get a rush of late entries.  As it turned out we simply had less than 50% of the entries required to break even!  As a committee we simply couldn’t justify using club funds to run a race that would run at a significant loss. YOGi Road Race Update – It’s on the 2nd September!

An update from our very own race organiser – Phil! The race date is getting nearer!  The earlier post (see below) produced 6 volunteers but more are needed.  I am particularly interested in members who are willing to drive their own car to carry officials, first aiders etc.  The vehicle insurance for the event is covered by BCF and, therefore, volunteer drivers must be BCF members.  Fuel costs will be reimbursed. YOGi Autumn Brentor Road Races 2011 – Report

Sunday 18th September saw the first ever YOGi Road Races held at Brentor and included the YOGi Road Race Championships sponsored by Spinnaker of Saltash and Tom French Associates. The weather was being less than kind and whilst the majority of us enjoyed a pre-race cup of tea, Andy Gray and Andy Parker set off in the rain to put out … Read more…

Afetr a great Time Trial last weekend we are aiming to make our first Road Race a similar success, however!..we need your help and support. For those who are still too shy, or racing yourself just doesn’t appeal, then please give something back and support … Read more…
