It’s YOGi AGM time again and hence the start of our 7th year. Well 7th as a formal club that is but by the reckoning of some of our original group the 30th anniversary of our clubs name. so a fact worth putting out there. As a club it’s great to be able to reflect that we have been part of a period when cycling went from being a minority sport to very much main stream.
Once again the venue is St Paul’s Church Hall in Yelverton.
All rides will start (or call in en-route) and end in the gravel car park by the village hall. If you arrive by car we advise parking on Yelverton Old Airfield (across the A376).
Anyone who rides and wants to bring some spare clothes will find plenty of car space in which to leave their bags (at own risk I might add!).
We will as ever appreciate ride leaders coming forward for our usual road rides, though please be aware of the need to meet our timings and to start/call in/finish in Yelverton.
Road Rides Depart 09:30
MTB Ride(s) Depart 10:00
Rides will end back at the Village Hall by 13:00, where we will be able to tuck into a BBQ?
It will be our usual thing; time for a general gathering and social chit chat, followed by the formalities of the AGM. This really will be short, sharp and simple, and will be followed by our annual awards. A key activity at this time is of course a review our committee positions and as Lynda has now stepped down it would be brilliant to have a new volunteer. So if you would like to put your name forward please do so via the firstname.lastname@example.org email. By 10th September. Should we have more than 1 volunteer we will hold a ballot (we will work the details if necessary).
Full Agenda below:-
- Call to Order and thanks for attending
- Annual Report – Summary of Key Moments/Achievements
- Year end Financial Account Statu
- Formal thanks to Linda and announce Name(s) of any 2017-2018 Rolling Committee Members

We expect a natural end around 15:00 (though we have the hall booked until 17:00).
We look forward to the usual enjoyable day!
