Mike Taylor will take the leisure ride this Saturday. Distance: about 30 miles. Route: Up Deux Alpes, Lee Moor, Cadover, Meavy, coffee at Long Ash before returning via Dousland, Burrator (clockwise), Sheepstor, Cadover, Borringdon and Colebrook. I’ll turn off at Colebrook but for any needing to get back to Coypool it’s just a matter of a mile or so.

Mike Smith leads a early season century out to Bude this weekend, with route as planned Roborough, tavy, Sourton, Bude, davistow, Launceston, Callington and Saltash.
James has offered something up for the 16-18 this week. Ride out to Slapton via Yealmpton, Erme valley, avonwick, diptford through to morleigh then the cut through to Strete, then home via loddiswell, Modbury and the usual trudge home along the A379. As for cafe stop could either be somewhere in kingsbridge, loddiswell cafe or something a bit earlier if needed. Evening all What with there being a Amber warning in place for Rain and high winds, continuing until 3pm approx tomorrow. And with the safety of our members in mind. We have decided to cancel all official club Road rides this weekend If you decide to venture out this is at your own discretion and we wish you a safe ride See you next weekend
If the weathers OK, Dan Richmond Hope’s to lead a leisure. Depending on numbers the route will be lee mill, cornwood, dragon hill, cadover then either via meavy or burator to yelverton…Dartmoor bakery, Vieira’s or farm shop (numbers dependant) then back via safest route

Michael Taylor has kindly offered to take the leisure ride. Out to Long Ash for coffee via Sparkwell, Cornwood, Dragon Hill to Yelverton.
Alan Farnell has agreed to lead a 12-14 ride. Same route as my solo last Sunday. Seaton via ferry and Rame. Back via Polbathic and Antony to ferry. Coffee stop at either Hill Top or Seaton. 44 miles and quite hilly, so pace will be 13mph. Route is on Strava
7th Sept 14/16 to Talland Bay Looe/Polperro loop As summer draws to a close, a trip to the beach ! From HQ along the embankment through town to the Torpoint Ferry for 09:30 then out to Anthony, Crafthole and coast road to Seaton. Then a hill challenge on the back road past the Monkey Sanctuary to Looe then out on the Polperro road and drop down to Talland Bay beach cafe Return via the same route to No Mans Land, Widegates and Hessenford, Polbathic and back to Torpoint for the ferry back 52 miles around 5k of climbing, weather looks … Read more…
